Ron Quigley/O'Neill Sportswear Scholarship

Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA. Art student. Must have completed 12 units at Golden West College and enroll in a minimum of 12 units at GWC or State College or University in Fall.

Ron Quigley was a professional surfer and a full-time art student who excelled in various areas of the arts before his accidental death in 1986. Ron’s life was a unique expression of love and creativity, and the faculty at GWC enjoyed his multiple talents as an art student. The art scholarship was established by O’Neill Sportswear with whom Ron had a contract to provide creative artwork and clothing design.
