R. Dudley Boyce and Mary T. Boyce Memorial Scholarship

2.5 GPA. Must have completed 12 units at Golden West College and enroll in a minimum of 12 units at GWC or a State College or University in the Fall.

R. Dudley Boyce, the founding president of Golden West College, was recognized nationally for his leadership and innovation. With the partnership of his wife, Mary Boyce Thornton Simpson, Dr. Boyce provided the motivation and leadership that created a campus legacy of innovation. They worked together to establish a new campus and nurture its growth. This scholarship was created as a tribute to Dr. R. Dudley and Mary Boyce by the Patrons of Golden West College, and their many friends, faculty and staff, who continue to carry on Dr. Boyce’s motto, “Let Change Be the Tradition.”
