Profesora Cronk Memorial Scholarship

2.5 GPA. Must have completed 12 units at Golden West College and enroll in a minimum of 12 units at GWC or a State College or University in the Fall.

This is the second scholarship dedicated in memory of Brunilda “Bruni” L. Cronk by her family and friends. Profesóra Cronk, as she was lovingly called by many of her students, exemplified what it meant to be a teacher and professor. She set the standard for all who seek to be the best they can be. Whether in one of her Spanish or Social Science classes, Bruni’s students looked forward to coming to class. Her door was always open. She counseled others based on the struggles she overcame. She would walk hand in hand with anyone struggling with an obstacle. Her memory will live on forever in the hearts of those she touched.
