Dominic Scolaro Memorial Scholarship

2.5 GPA. Must have completed 12 units at Golden West College and enroll in a minimum of 12 units at GWC or a State College or University in the Fall.

Dominic Scolaro, Ph.D., was one of the founding professors in the Foreign Languages Department at GWC. He taught French, Italian and Spanish at GWC until his retirement in 1979. He was very dedicated to his students and the entire College. His family, friends and colleagues have established this scholarship in his memory, in order to help enable deserving students to achieve their educational goals.
