Karen Glines Memorial Tutorial Scholarship

Must be a current or past Golden West College tutor.

Karen Glines worked in the GWC Tutorial and Learning Center for over 25 years. She was very devoted to the success of GWC students and the campus. She worked tirelessly to better the lives of students, tutors, and staff. Her generous nature moved her to be instrumental in the establishment of this scholarship in memory of Michael Calhoon, an English tutor known for his warmth and commitment to others. The Tutoring Service Club established this annual scholarship to honor Karen Glines and Michael Calhoon whose dedication, generosity, and giving nature have touched so many lives at GWC and in the community.
