Galles Family Scholarship

Minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA. Open to Chemistry or Biology majors who have completed at least 24units. Must have completed or be enrolled in Chemistry 225.

This scholarship was established by Dr. Carol J. Grimes, professor of chemistry, using funds from her Chemical Manufacturers Association Catalyst Award for excellence in teaching. Dr. Grimes created the scholarship in honor of her parents (Winifred and Harry Galles), whose belief in the importance of education motivated their three children to achieve academic success.
