Dr. William and Joan Stanley Memorial Scholarship

Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA; Must be majoring in the sciences; selection made on academic achievement.

Dr. Stanley was a GWC Biology instructor for many years, whose wide-ranging accomplishments included hydroponics. His wife, Joan, also taught biology, was a medical technologist and earned her master’s degree. Both valued the importance of higher education.
