Lloyd Hamilton Campus Life Award

2.5 GPA. Must have completed 12 units at Golden West College and enroll in a minimum of 12 units at GWC or a State College or University in the Fall. The award recognizes an outstanding student who has contributed to and also inspired the quality of campus life. A 500-word essay requires applicants to write about how they have contributed to and inspired the quality of campus life. Students on academic or disciplinary probation are not eligible.

The Associated Students of GWC established this award in recognition of Lloyd Hamilton’s contribution to campus life in assisting the Associated Students with their various projects. He was the founding Director of Business Services for the college. The award recognizes an outstanding student who has contributed to and also inspired the quality of campus life.
