Soroptimist International of Huntington Beach Jean Turner Memorial Scholarship

2.5 GPA; Journalism or English major. Must have completed 12 units at Golden West College and enroll in a minimum of 12 units at GWC or a state college or university in the Fall.

This journalism scholarship was established by Soroptimist International of Huntington Beach and by family members of Jean Turner. Mrs. Turner, who never attended journalism school, wrote a weekly column for 32 years in a local newspaper.
