Dr. Fred J. Owens Memorial Scholarship

Open to students participating in competitive Sports at GWC.
Dr. Owens was a charter faculty member of Golden West College and began his campus career as its first Athletic Director. He also served as Dean of Student Services and Vice President of Administrative Services. This scholarship was established upon his retirement by his colleagues, friends, and former students in appreciation of his 30 years of service.
