Cora Mora Moreno Memorial Cosmetology Scholarship

3.4 GPA; demonstrated a commitment to community service; cosmetology student.
This scholarship was established by Jim Moreno, Coast Community College District Trustee, and his sister Marie Moreno Patino, in memory of their loving mother Cora M. Moreno. Cora maintained an active California beautician’s license for over 50 years and was dedicated to education and community service. Upon her death in March 2008, this scholarship was established to help cosmetology students who have achieved a strong academic record and have demonstrated a commitment to community service.
